Abdülhamit Bakır

He began his studies in Industrial Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology in 2004 and transferred to the Department of Architecture in 2008. During his university years, he took on teaching and administrative roles in various foundations and associations, primarily at VONDER. After returning to Türkiye in 2017, he completed his architectural education at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. Alongside his university education, he worked as a technical specialist and site manager on project-based assignments. He has completed associate degree programs in International Trade and Logistics Management and Disaster and Emergency Management. He is also a board member of the Institute of Architectural Research. Bakır, who is married with two children, speaks German fluently, has intermediate proficiency in English, and basic knowledge of Arabic. He began his career at the Türk Kızılay as an Education Planning and Implementation Specialist and until 2025 served as a Publishing Specialist at the Academy Directorate.
