Şeyma Aydınyılmaz
She completed her undergraduate studies at Marmara University, Faculty of Theology, and earned her master’s degree in Educational Psychology and Guidance at the International Islamic University Malaysia with a thesis titled Psychological Well-being and Coping Strategies among Rohingya Refugee Youth. While pursuing her graduate studies, she also worked as a research assistant in projects on “Creative and Critical Thinking” at the same university.
She volunteered as an English teacher at UNHCR-supported Myanmar refugee schools in Kuala Lumpur and participated in short-term humanitarian missions in Indonesia, Cambodia, and Thailand. Drawing on her academic and field experiences in Malaysia, she authored an article titled Surviving on Earth: Rohingya Children for the Kızılay 1868 Journal.
She received training on Islam in the Contemporary World from the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) and the Center for Advanced Studies Sarajevo in Bosnia and Montenegro. Aydınyılmaz is currently pursuing a second master's degree in International and Comparative Education at Marmara University’s Institute of Educational Sciences and a second bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Anadolu University.
She serves as a Training Strategies and Program Development Specialist within the Academy Directorate.
