Zahide Ekmekci
She completed her bachelor's degree in the Department of Modern Greek Language and Literature at the Faculty of Language, History, and Geography at Ankara University, and her master's degree in the Byzantine Chair of the Medieval History Department at the same faculty. She translated and interpreted Konstantine Porphyrogenitus's work De Administrando Imperio from Classical Greek into Turkish as her master's thesis. She attended courses on Modern Greek Language and Literature at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has conducted research on refugees in Idomeni, located on the border between Greece and North Macedonia. She teaches Classical Greek, Modern Greek, and English and also works as a translator in these languages. Ekmekci, who speaks English, Modern Greek, Russian, Armenian, Ottoman Turkish, and some Arabic, began working as a senior researcher at the TRC Academy, continued as a Product and Content Development Specialist until 2024, and currently serves as a Project Management Specialist at the Directorate of Corporate Development.
