Selman Salim Kesgin

He completed his PhD on “Türkiye's Migration Policies” at Gazi University's Public Administration Department in 2017. He worked as a research assistant at the same university between 2011 and 2017. He has served as editor-in-chief and coordinator for various academic publications and event platforms. Between 2016 and 2017, he continued his research as a visiting researcher at Oxford University as part of his doctoral studies. Since 2018, he has been continuing his work in the fields of academic research, collaborations, and events at Türk Kızılay. He teaches part-time at Ankara University of Social Sciences and Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. He served as a senior expert in academic studies on international migration, disaster management, and humanitarian aid policies at the TRC Academy until 2024.
